JULY 11, 2024 // Manila, Philippines: Climate Smart Ventures (CSV), in association with the Philippine Solar and Storage Energy Alliance (PSSEA), hosted a special seminar on July 11 for PSSEA members on raising debt and equity smart for renewable energy (RE). Matthew Carpio, CSV’s Head of Transaction Advisory, facilitated the workshop. The seminar focused on maximizing banks’ growing interest in RE while navigating challenges including high interest rates and changing regulations and risk preferences, to ensure funding now and in the future.
Participants specifically learned about the following topics:
- Navigating debt and equity financing
- Crafting a winning project proposal to attract investors
- Negotiation tips and best practices for securing favorable terms
